Own a patch and cap that need to be sewn together? We can help with that.
Steps to getting your patch and blank cap sewn up:
Patch & Cap Guidelines:
• Please text us a photo of your patches and caps to the 415 number in the photo above.
• Caps that you send in must be new. We don't accept used caps.
• A patch must be no taller than 3" to fit onto a cap. Maximum width is 5".
• We don’t sew on PVC patches. This soft rubber patch won’t hold up under our industrial sewing machine.
• We don’t accept heat press patches. These are specifically made to be heat pressed onto jackets and tote bags - not caps.
• Patches with multiple curves and sharp angles might not be sewable. We’ll let you know if that’s the case.
• Very Important! We no longer accept caps with patches still attached. Text us if you have any questions about how to safely remove a patch from a cap.
• Once we have your patches and caps in our hands, and we can inspect it up close, we reserve the right to turn down a job if we feel the patch cannot hold up to our industrial sewing machine. Our machine likes to eat up delicate patches and we’d rather turn down a job if we feel this might occur.
• We charge an additional service charge per patch should it need to be cleaned. We’ll let you know if this is the case when you send us a photo of your patch.
• Please send in your patch and cap as soon as you can after you place an order, and include a note with your name and order number along with your patch and cap pairings.
• We are not responsible for sent items that are lost in transport. We highly recommend using a shipping service with a tracking number.

Frequently asked questions about our sewing service.
Do you offer a price break if I have a bigger order?
Yes. Price breaks begin at an order of six or more. Text us at our 415 number for pricing.
Anything else I need to know about sending in a blank cap?
We just need to take a look at first. It does need to be a brand new blank cap. We don't accept used or pre-worn caps.
So why go to all the trouble of machine sewing patches onto caps?
Because it’s simply the best way to secure a patch onto a ball cap. A well-sewn patch will last twenty-years or more. The cap will give out before the patch ever does. Sure, you could glue down a patch in half the time but it’s never going to be able to stay secure or make a design “pop-off” a cap. Machine sewing stretches and secures a patch to the point where it hugs the contours of a cap. Gluing down a patch on a cap can never achieve this unique dimensionality and lasting power.
