What do you call a vintage transfer from the 1970's that's heat pressed onto a quality blank t-shirt in 2025? Time Machine T-Shirt of course.
The 1970’s (and 1980's) were the golden age of shopping malls, and t-shirt shops were an ever-present tenant. Picking designs from an inventory of iron-on transfers, customers could get a custom t-shirt made in minutes.
Fast forward to today, and with these t-shirt shops long gone, these vintage transfers have become collector’s items. From what we can tell, we're the only outfit selling vintage transfers heat pressed onto new blank tees. It's like we built our own H.G. Wells time machine – headed back to 1975 and brought back these ancient transfers. Aside from hunting down these old timers, the hardest part was getting these vintage transfers to successfully heat press onto t-shirts.
After weeks of trial and error, we finally came up with our own secret recipe to revive these transfers, and get them successfully heat pressed onto t-shirts. And the results? These transfers are super-soft to the touch and not plasticky.
